Hi friends...It's been quite terrible that i haven't been able to post very much in the last week. Hurricane sandy was a total bummer!! 

I was scared to use my computer for part of the week because i didn't know if we were going to lose power and it was just generally very stressful. 

Alas, [most] of the trains are back running [except for the poor boyfriends :( he keeps having to wait hours and hours for travel] But other then that, we are safe, and so is our apartment so i feel very blessed.

 

Chelsea Market is FINALLY back open so please come visit!  I hope everyone is doing alright, and is safe and sound... 

*and that Aimee from Artsyville gets power soon!!*

What book is SUPER popular on the subway?

Now that i kinda consider myself a 'connoisseur' of the subway -- hey! i gave someone directions today!? 

Okay, I'm not. 

I'm totally lying.

BUT, i can tell you that in the past week, i've sat next to TWO different folks reading the 'Great Gatsby'. Being the nosy person i am, i started [reading] this guys book while on my journey to the city today and realized how VISUALLY written this book is.

Captivated, i knew i wanted to draw a quote from the book. This ^^ grabbed my attention and now, here lies today's 'nightly doodle'.

(hello!) happy Monday!

Hello friends! I've been WANTING to write on this blog for AGES but it's been SO CRAZY on my end of the real life-a-sphere! I'm prepping to MOVE to NEW YORK in the next few weeks and it's been INsane!

I've never lived anywhere EXCEPT Florida so it's going to be a HUGE change, but i'm super excited as well! but....! i've just spent the last two hours prepping blogs for the whole week to hopefully inspire you during another [stessFREE?] work week!
