Fabulos AND flawed!!

My beautiful, wonderful friend posted this on her Facebook last night and it was WAY TOO TRUE not to draw and post it today. :) This statement is SO hard to remember, espeially in a 'perfect cookie cutter' society.

I hope you embrace your flaws this week though...

I know it's simple, but i think it came out really cute. :)

Perfect for a children's room or nursery!

But...seeing as i love it, and I'm 28, i think adults would love it too!

Where do Reeses Rejects go?

Did you ever wonder happens to the rejects of Reeses land? 

Poor little guys (and gals).

So much work to make yourself into a peanut butter cup... and all you can be is a candy model for Walmart.

TODAY is the DAY.

I got such a good response from my first black and white drawing, "hi love" that it inspired me to keep drawing MORE in this style.

This was my 2nd adventure in black and white land. Since these nightly doodles came about, i've drawn about 10; and am now printing a whole collection of them that will be available in my etsy shop next month! :D

Should we stop fast forwarding our lives?

Hard seasons make me want to press the fast forward button. Right now.... THIS is a more difficult season for me. During this new season in NY, I'm super blessed to have made some really amazing friendships here. They've made my hard season much easier. For that, I'm so thankful.

A lovely friend of mine, knowing my issues with my present, knowing that i want to hurry up this season, sent me a link to this INCREDIBLE blog post. 

The blog, "God Chicks" is written by Holly Wagner, a pastor of a church in California. 

I spent the rest of the day listening to everything i could find on this website, all of Holly and the other God Chick's stories. It made for a very delightful day.

I hope that perhaps you could find this doodle or even this blog as awesome and helpful as i do. :)
